Yucca plants thrive in bright, sunny locations with well-draining soil. They prefer warm temperatures and can tolerate drought once established. Outdoors, plant them in a spot that receives at least six hours of sunlight daily. Indoors, place them near a south- or west-facing window where they receive plenty of natural light. Avoid waterlogged soil, as excess moisture can lead to root rot and other health problems.
