If you don’t have an Echo speaker or any other Alexa-enabled device, you can save a great deal of time each day by using these helpful Alexa commands. It’s important to remember that everything you say has to be preceded by the wake word, which is always “Alexa”.Simple skills are the most common type of alexa skills, and are used on a day to day basis. Cooking up a meal is another time that you can use to set a timer with ‘Alexa, set a timer for 10 minutes’. Or, you can say “Alexa, set an alarm for 7 a.m.!” in the morning to set an alarm. Or, you can ask “Alexa, what’s the weather today?” before heading outside to find out the forecast. If you wish to defuse the situation, you may ask, ‘Alexa, play some relaxing music’ or ‘Alexa, tell me the news’ and Alexa will respond immediately. You can use the words Alexa, stop to end the music.Say Alexa, stop to end the music. If you have smart home devices, then the Alexa commands are even more useful. While the devices are connected in the app, tap the button to let Alexa turn off the lights in the living room, set the temperature to 22 or lock the front door, and more. For instance, you can maintain your lists arranged with the Alexa command “Add milk to my shopping list”, and the item will appear in the Alexa app on your mobile phone. It’s a great idea to have routines. You can have them all happen with one command, such as “Alexa, good morning,” making it easy to get your morning Alexa routine without a hitch. For family who are located in other rooms, “Alexa, call Mom” and “Alexa, announce dinner is ready” can be used.Generally, I read honest hands-on reviews before purchasing any smart gadgets and I find techyassit very helpful as it presents genuine reviews of the products making it easier to compare devices.
